Celebrate Pride Month in Meadow Lake with our kick off event - Flag Raising Celebration!
The City of Meadow Lake has declared June to be Pride Month in our community 🥳. The NWSD has declared June 1, 2023 as Pride Day 🥳!
This will be recognized with the Pride flag on display at City Hall and at TPEC!
The celebrations will occur on June 1/23 over the lunch hour (12-1) at TPEC! Thank you to the school and NWSD for hosting!
We will have speeches, the flag raising, giveaways, and a calendar of events for the whole of Pride Month 🌈
Please note that while the official Celebration is happening at TPEC, we encourage folks to visit City Hall for a photo opp with the flag and thank the City staff and councillors for their support of 2SLGBTQIA+ people in our community!
